Phonic Bloom
Phonic Bloom is an interactive Augmented Reality (AR) mobile application that enhances the Woodland Community Library’s children’s reading room by interpreting a data sculpture both sonically and visually. As Social Media Team Lead, I developed and executed a multi-platform campaign to promote the installation, the library, and the project team’s work. This campaign spanned Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, focusing on engaging the local community and showcasing the innovative features of the project.
In addition to creating a variety of content—including images, video clips, GIFs, and infographics—I led a team of four to ensure deadlines and deliverables were met. I also measured the campaign’s performance, analyzing engagement and conversion rates to refine our approach and maximize impact. This project successfully increased awareness of the library and the Phonic Bloom installation, highlighting the power of AR to connect communities through art and technology.
The Last of Us (HBO) Social Media Case Study
In April 2023, I conducted an in-depth analysis of HBO's social media marketing strategy for The Last of Us, examining how the campaign engaged audiences and effectively adapted the beloved video game for television. My research focused on the series' presence on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter (X), highlighting how the team built anticipation, retained fans of the original game, and attracted new viewers through strategic content sharing and engagement.
The project culminated in a formal report that evaluated the campaign’s effectiveness across platforms. Key insights included the ways in which the campaign leveraged cross-platform storytelling to deepen audience connection and create excitement around the series premiere. This case study offered valuable lessons in how to craft successful social media strategies for multimedia adaptations..
